From addons that make managing your inventory a breeze to ones that replace the UI in its entirety, if you're not customizing your interface you're missing out on some serious improvements. That's why we've rounded up a selection of the most popular favorites (and a few of our personal ones) to help you figure out which WoW addons are right for you and how to get started customizing the interface to be tailor-fit. Thankfully, enterprising modders have created a host of WoW addons that add all sorts of wonderful functionality. One thing that hasn't really changed about World of Warcraft since it released in 2004 is its user interface. Super nice, just sometimes gets in the way esp in pvp unless you go super low on the y axis and turn the number sizes super small.īut its nice to see big crits so who wants to make them that small heheHaving that option to put your beautiful addon working behind the plates would be amazing. Being able to extend the duration of the numbers would do a world of good. Thanks! In reply to:I just meant with blizzards damage ui, their damage flies behind the nameplate and cast bar and such. And obvi your design shows damage colors and icons but is always in front of the nameplates and cast bars. Are there any plans on adding additional filters and customization to how the numbers show up?For example additional anchors to the left of the nameplate, to the right, also scroll areas so I can split direct damage from dots, and pet and minion damage? Having the option to toggle specific types of damage or to add filters for spells (so that I can add a spell name and it wouldn't show anymore).Even if these things aren't planned, having a duration option is sorely needed I think. Hey, this is one of my favourite addons for WoW but as an Affliction warlock I get so many numbers that I can't read most of them. My code is your code.FAQQ: Can you add healing?A: Healing will not be included, friendly nameplates are protected in Dungeons and Raids and therefore it would not be possible (or easy) to make it happen.Q: Will you add a filter to ignore certain abilities and spells?A: One day, yes. All configurable through in-game options menuProudly open-source under the MIT License. Small damage is smaller, crits are larger. Color damage numbers by damage type/school. Quickly identify what spell did the damage with spell icons. Truncate large numbers with postfix letter (126,307 - 126k). Gives the feeling of the default floating combat text, but superpowered! See a GFY.
